BASIC Close Quarters Conflict (CQC) Duration: 3 Days Description: This Basic CQC is designed to provide a baseline proficiency for an officer’s response to a high threat situation inside of a structure. This course is instructed by Subject matter experts with engagement history from high profile Special operations teams. Date & Time: July 7-9, 2025 (0830-1630) Price: $900.00 Per Officer Location: Troy Fire and Police Training Center 4850 John R Rd, Troy, MI 48085 Day 1: (8 Hours) Training Objectives: Basic Room Control Skillsets & Fundamentals • Understanding history of violence (History of Violence & the human response) • Understanding violent encounters internal of structures vs. External of structures. • Room movement & Control (Solo/Dry) • Room movement & Control (Partner/Dry) Day 2: (8 Hours) Training Objective: Macro movement • Understanding macro vs. micro movements inside of a structure. • Hallway Movement, “Hot wall” mitigation, and prioritization (Dry) • Small unit Room Movement & Control (Training munitions (Sim) on Target) Day 3: (8 Hours) Training Objective: Planning & Scenarios • Introduction to mission planning. • Final Training Exercises (FTX): Officers will test crisis response readiness against live role players with simulated Marking munitions (Simmunition). The final exercise will test the officers’ Basic emergency Crisis response skills obtained in the course. Equipment List: • Primary / Secondary Weapon System • Weapon Sling (Rifle) & Retention • Duty Vest, Belt, Operational loadout • Communications (Optional) • Simunitions/UTM weapon systems & all related PPE (200 rds. per student) • Long sleeves • Clear Eye Protection • Gloves (Optional) • (Teams) Additional supplemental equipment (Robots, Drones) • Chem Lights Blue / Red (Optional) • Notepad & Pen • Planning aids (Optional for Day 3)
